I lost all respect for sports figures when they became a bunch of primadonnas and started demanding big money. Instead of staying sports heroes they became a reminder of how screwed up our society's priorities have become.
Meanwhile people who work far harder at jobs like caring for, healing, and saving lives get paid peanuts.

And I have always shunned working in the pharma or health care industries...they make $$ off of peoples' misery.
Nurses and doctors and saving life guys can demand pay and if they don't like it, don't take the job.
