Vaccines may cause problems for a very small percentage of the population but it's like refusing to wear a seat belt because someone got cut in half by one in a freak accident. Actually a true story, my Brother is a professional firefighter and the one accident they responded to the guy would of been dead if he had a seat belt on. My Brother always wears his seat belt.

The trouble today is no one has experienced a world without them. My Grandmother who passed at nearly the age of 101 could tell you stories of watching family, friends and neighbors dying or permanently handicapped form things that are easily preventable with vaccines.

...meanwhile people have lived in earth for thousands of years...even before vaccines were ever thought of.

Just the other day Fauci himself said modern vaccines have only eliminated one disease...smallpox. His words, not mine. I have not fact checked what was said. After all, he’s the supposed guru.

Since I graduated high school some 30+ years ago there have been at least 20 new vaccines for this and that, that “they” are wanting these kids to take now before they are are upper teens. I ask some of you older than me; where the heck does this madness end? How many more vaccines are they going to impose upon our children?

Said it before and I’ll say it again. I’m not an anti-vaxer, but I will become one the day you are no longer free to make a choice.

Some people to re-think what it means to be free...and some of you may have even fought for it.

The news is telling you some of our first responders have no choice and had to take the vaccine. I know at least three nurses who refused the Covid-19 vaccine and are still working as nurses. Don’t buy into all the BS. Think!!!!

I think what is in question is more the basic ethics and morality of those in charge. Political ideology has corrupted science as well as individual behaviour in journalism and government. The end now justifies the means, especially if it also leads to personal enrichment

Some vaccines are tried and true and have proven their worth over time...
They should never be mandatory...
Common sense needs to be in play...
The Covid shot is not a vaccine...
It will not prevent you from getting it...
Nor will it prevent you from being a carrier and passing it on to someone else...
It was only approved under a Emergency Order...
Therefore it has limited testing and studies...
The people who take the shot are Beta Testers...
I will wait and see how the Beta Testers fare...
If you are in a very high risk group it might be worth the risk...
But you must decide your fate...

If it doesn't prevent it why are we seeing an approximate 80% drop in nursing home infections?

Why has cases dropped in my county of 43,000+ ... and there’s only been slightly less than 4000 “reported” cases to begin with, yet only slightly more than 8000+ people have received the vaccine, yet our cases are dropping and have dropped to less than 100 cases?

The numbers were dropping before vaccinations started here when you consider the lag time in reporting.

Tells me “ALL” cases are dropping for another reason besides the vaccine. Herd immunity maybe. I believe the the scientific term is natural selection.

CDC reported the other day that it does in fact prevent transmission. When it was released a week after the election the CEO of Phizer said he didn’t know what it would do as far as preventing transmission.

If it does, its great news for folks that choose not to take it!

MERCK Co. is in phase 3 trials of a COVID antiviral medicine in pill form that stops the virus from replicating.

That’s really good news.

Since my kids are no longer in school, and I work by myself, I find it's better to just stay away from other people and continue to take the daily vitamins that I have for years - many of which they started recommending to help fight Covid. I get far fewer colds and other crap that gets passed around by people who are in groups.

So, I'll wait until they come up with a vaccine that shows it gives lasting protection and it's one that I'm not hearing about all the people that are having problems after taking it,.... or getting very sick with Covid anyway. I've had lots of vaccines in my life time. All those required to be in public school, plus,.... the first two weeks of Army reception center we got shots just about every night. Some nights multiple shots. I never heard of anyone having adverse reactions that required having medical backup standing by to treat for shock and make you wait around after the shot to see if your going to have an adverse reaction to the vaccine. And they still don't know how long the vaccine will protect. Plus there are reports of people still getting very sick from Covid after getting the two doses, when the vaccine is supposed to be most effective.

I'm not anti-vaccine, I'm just anti - "maybe it'll work, maybe it won't, but take it anyway". :baby:

I figure my method of prevention, that has worked for me for decades, is less risky.

If you can even trust the CDC...

I had typed this out several times weeks ago for the other thread and deleted it. Going to put it out there anyway.

Even if I wanted to take it I wouldn’t and I can’t...simply because my son cannot take any vaccines. Unless you’re in that situation, many of you would never understand what that is like. I hope you’re never put in that situation.

Went to my specialist a few weeks back. One of Cincinnati’s finest. He asked me how I’d been and I told him we had been fine and that all three had the virus in early November. He asked about our symptoms and how it was for us, I think to see for sure if I was telling the truth I suppose. I told him we had mild symptoms and I told him I later tested positive. He said, (paraphrasing) ‘well then I’ve got good news. You don’t need to take the vaccine’. I said, “well that’s not what our federal health officials and the news are reporting. In fact, Dr. Fauci still highly recommends (of course he would) getting the vaccine. His reply was, ‘well I’m not on television and don’t want to be and I don’t care what those you’ve mentioned have said’...then he said, ...’ the science AND the math not only in the U.S., but all over the world points to the fact that if you’ve had the virus that you’ll never get it again. He said it is extremely rare to get it twice. ‘We have a lot to learn still, but all indications and numbers say you don’t need the vaccine because you have immunity.’

Now I ask any of you this...
If my body hasn’t built up enough immunity getting a virus naturally, then what makes any of you believe a vaccine will give me better immunity? Heck, they certainly will never guarantee your immunity after vaccination, and they sure as heck ARE exempt from any lawsuits anyone might bring upon them, thus the ‘emergency use’ without “real” FDA approval, and they’re even immune to lawsuits with “real” FDA approval. Go figure. That makes snake oil legal for sale with zero repercussions. The entire 7+billion people on earth are your target market. Just how many products can be marketed to all 7+BILLION people on earth.? Only one that I know of...vaccines. Friends, that is no coincidence.

Whether you or I trust these people is irrelevant. The fact remains, unless you are one of those making the vaccines, mixing them, then there is no way you know what is being put inside your body. We have to trust them. Sometimes I do, other times I don’t. LOL!!

Appears to me nearly 300 million U.S. citizens haven’t yet had the virus, or this one mentioned in this thread. Some of you have went a year plus now without getting the virus without having a vaccine. Many millions had the virus and lived through...

...and let us not forget that team Fauci/Birks told us as many as 2.5 million could die. Enough already have died already , but of what exactly? The numbers are nowhere near 1M, let alone 2.5M. So it has been made to seem more deadly that it really is by simply sensationalizing it in the media. You’ve got people fighting in stores because someone isn’t wearing a mask. For crying out loud, if you’re that afraid of meeting someone NOT wearing a mask, then you really need to think about staying home.

Paul, my aunt is 75 years old and her sister took the Covid-19 vaccine and her head and face swelled up like a balloon for three days. She then flew to AZ for 3 weeks vacation, came back and took the 2nd shot. Eeeeekkk!! Not me, after all that. I have not heard of any reactions to dose 2, but no word of her passing either. Thank God!

Sorry. Got off on the wrong virus, but the shoe still fits, so carry on.

Funny how so many are so quick to trust Doctors when medical malpratice kills about 6 times more people each year than the latest media and political hot topic, homicide by firearms.

And keep in mind that there are about 3000 more firearms in the USA than there are Doctors,....

To quote Clint Eastwood in the movie, Dirty Harry,... "Do ya feel lucky punk?" :baby:

I'll wait on the vaccine until I can be assured those pushing it know what the heck they are doing.
