Brought mom to the emergency room this morning, her feet are severely swollen and she's in pain and she has infection going up to her thigh. Her white blood cells are not elevated, no fever. She just got taken for an ultrasound. I'll keep everyone posted.

was at the emergency room for a few hrs, they ran moms blood work and checked her vitals and all were ok.
no explanation why her feet are swollen and red and the redness goes up to her thigh. the doc was an intern. he tried to say it's a bacterial infection. will have to follow up with primary care doc monday. her pain level is very high.

we tired to get mom to a dermatologist a few weeks ago but none will see her because she is unable to wear a mask. she has a signed note from three doctors exempting her. but still she got harassed today. ripped my mask off when they started giving her trouble.
I am very protective of my mom. i would not be here if she had listened to the doctors 50 years ago and ended the pregnancy like the doctors wanted. She had a brain tumor they wanted to remove but they were going to end her pregnancy first. after i was born they could no longer find the brain tumor, it had gone away!

i'm over this crap. some treatment my mother gets for working at that crappy hospital for 43 years.

FFred's been down these roads and seems to have finally landed a Good Doc/Surgeon! All Our Best To You and Ma! You're A Damned Good Son!

After a bunch of the same with Doctors and Surgeons, we refer to it as being in the "medical mill". You get ground around, and around until you think you'll be ground to dust.

Hopefully they find out what it takes to help your Mom.

waiting on the family doctor to see her, she tried to get an appt but he's too busy this week.
they made her all black and blue from the ultrasound, she made them stop because they were hurting her. Mom could barely walk yesterday because of the pain.
