http://recombinomics.co/topic/4395-superspreader- ... tal-wuhan/

So is SARS now airborne? and are 1 billion Chinese on the move to celebrate the new year? By the time the WHO extracts their proverbial digits and declares this "a public health emergency of international concern" -- a rare designation only used for the gravest epidemics on Wednesday. ..hmmmmm.

Just an old man speculating. and no we don't have a vaccine for it and no we don't have any antibiotics for it. and no Jamiesons will not work.

Glad I still have 500 N-95 masks from the bird flu scare in 01-02. That and the boilo receipe should help one way or the other!

Dr. McGillicuddy has a cure that Jamieson's cant touch. Forget the teaspoon. It takes a 2 pints to cure it.

Pssst, hey guys,.... there's no "i" in Jamesons. Careful of the spelling, or ya might end up taking the generic stuff.

Our mail lady had a meltdown during the last SARS scare. As she used to be fairly precise in the delivery time I ran out wearing my WWII Spitfire oxygen mask to collect the mail. My lack of sensitivity to the matter was not appreciated. However, I thought I was hilarious ... I slayed myself.

So this airborne, mutating coronovirus is doing it's thing. WHO is behind the ball as usual and we are in trouble ... yep, too late to stop it now. The only saving grace is gaw thinks everything is OK ....

Congress/senate are farting around as usual with nonsense and not looking after us and they need to be all over this. Hands up those that realize this is 1917 all over again.

All this combined with reading internet articles about dogs eating their owner's faces when they die and nobody is around has me pretty much scared schiffless.

If this is as contagious as swine flu they are not going to contain it anymore. Should have stopped planes from China when it started.

Quarantine rarely works. By the time they find they need it, far too many have already spread it beyond where they can control.

And if you've ever spent a lot of time in a hospital, you'd be shocked how often nurses and doctors ignore the rules to prevent spread of germs, much less an airborne virus.

Having spent time in a hospital quarantine room, my experience is Doctors are some of the worst offenders of not following quarantine measures.
