We are governed by idiots

I have a theory as to why we suddenly started adding fluoride to our nations drinking water supplies. It began in conjunction with the Manhattan Project and the enrichment of uranium. You see: Uranium Hexafluoride is needed by which to centrifuge uranium and purify it and also separate 235 from 238. And that requires endless tons of fluoride. And fluoride is separated from Feldspar (a rock also known as Calcium Fluoride) in the production of hydrofluoric acid, which is directly required in order to make uranium hexafluoride. There were two hydrofluoric acid manufacturing facilities in the USA which processed Feldspar back then, one in the heart of the industrial valley of Cleveland Ohio, and one in Rochester NY. And until 1954 all of the centrifuging and enrichment of uranium in the USA for the Manhattan Project was done at these two plants. But wherever it is being enriched today (now for use mainly in nuclear electrical power plants which are merely fronts for weapon grade uranium enrichment) it still requires hydrofluric acid to make the fuel for the power plants, and that produces mega-tons of fluoride as part of the process. What to do with this dangerous stuff? Why that's simple, just add it to the nations drinking water supplies. The story (true or untrue?) is told that by then Germany was adding it to the water supplies of the concentration camps, and the USSR was adding it to the water supplies of the gulags. Both for the purpose of mellowing out the incarcerated, and both claiming success in so doing. Who knows, but soy-boys, and those requiring safe spaces and security pets on flights, etc... (plus other of odd deviants) may trace some degree of their maladies to drinking water laced with fluoride, and also brushing their teeth in it. Stores even sell infant water complete with fluoride. Best to start them out young. Otherwise we would have to figure out how to dispose of all of it.

I worked at one of the two factories (obviously post the Manhattan Project). It was eventually shut down due to still being radioactively hot. It is now a wasteland that is considered untouchable, but it was only closed in around 1982. I have a bone marrow cancer linked to radiation exposure (which is one of the top few suspected causes, though there are others). I'm not playing. Although there had been rumors on and off, the company never told us the prior history of the facility until they were closing the doors due to the demand of the government and explaining to us as to why we had all just lost our jobs. But the later part of my post above is admittedly speculation.

I would back your speculation over the CDCs knowledge.

Any type of bone cancer or related to it is often caused by radiation. The real exposure limit should be 0, in a perfect world.

the flouride thing, I'd like to think it was honestly done to stop cavities, so i better not read too many links

The original (and only) study was done by a bunch of dentists. The power of the study was suspect at best and the protocol designed by a man who needed to stick to the cause of halitosis. I remember that in university on a Monroe calculator we had to take it apart as an exercise. That is how old I am. Why does CDC cling to this outdated piece of rubbish. Well to reverse course now might precipitate the world biggest lawsuit.

Psst, use a non flourinated toothpaste.

Monroe calculator does not impress me much. Had you used a quill pen and paper I might be a little impressed.
My county loves our Dentists too much to flouridate the water, or maybe too cheap. I have a well so it makes no difference. First world problems can really wear you down.

Same here gaw, water right out of the ground that the state told us was bad for us.....go figure. I alone in my family had bad teeth. It had nothing to do with the water.
I do not drink tap water here in Tenn. I buy my water but the studies show that is a crap shoot. What to do? Die from something someday....my old business partner said he wanted to be shot by an irate husband.....there ya go.....
