Thanks guys. Surgery took 3 hours and went well. Worse part for me was the general anesthesia that included a tube down my throat. My feet felt like they weighed 50 pounds each when I got out of bed in recovery. Fred I’m sure you know that feeling. This was a walk in the park compared to what you are going through.
I can breathe like a SOB all of the sudden. Like changing a clogged air filter. I’m probably going to have to have my CPAP machine dialed back. I can’t wear it for a while. They are concerned it will blow clots into my lungs.
Anyway I’m home and doing fine. Thanks again my carbon brothers.

Glad it went well, now for Pete’s sake, REST.

It took me about 4 days but after that it was like someone installed a turbocharger; I could actually breathe. I never realized just how plugged up everything was until things were opened up.

It’s a pain in the arse... but it’s well worth it.

Good to hear it went well. Be good to yourself for a few days and heal up. It's always a good feeling to get these kind of things in the rearview mirror!

It went better than I had expected. I was prepared for lots of bleeding and seepage but it has been very minor. I am getting ready right now to go back to the docs for the post op visit where he will remove the packing out of my sinuses. Then they get another scaping and flush. I've got to return every week for the next 3-4 weeks for that. There has been virtually no pain. It is a little uncomfortable having this stuff packed up in my sinuses but bearable. One bad thing is I have to sleep propped up which hasn't gone very well. Since the surgery on Friday morning I have had maybe 8 hours total sleep so that's getting to be a drag. I really hate to complain because compared to what Fred has gone through and continues to recover from this was nothing.

Oh yea, I recall the packing and scraping. I remember thinking at the time that's the MOAB (Mother Of All Boogers...)
