My dad got a call from THE MAN upstairs at 4:46 this morning.
I was beside him when the time came.

His last meal was one of dads favorites, a balonga sandwich, blueberry pie, and an ice cold Miller's.

Hope everyone Christmas is better than mine.

Prayers to you and the rest of of your family Mugsy. I am very sorry for your loss but I must say it is most remarkable that the Lord would call your father home on the same day that he gave his only Son to be born for us. Very honoring to you and certainly something to think about.

May the Peace that passes all understanding be upon you... God bless your family.

Sorry to hear that you lost your dad. The silver lining is that it sounds like it was under good circumstances (with family, warm in bed, full belly).

Jesus.Mnt!
I feel Amazed at Your Grace to Share such a Profound and Touching Moment with Us! The Fine Folks that have posted prior to me have All put it out there so Warmly. There's nothing I can do other than throw You something to Ponder...

1.) Pops really smashed it out of the park having his Smash Meal that he Loved, and had it with You Guys!
2.) If You could ask him,I think he'd share with You a Father's Grace and tell You that he's glad he wasn't the Survivor. He didn't want Pain for You Guys, but he simply didn't have alot of choices nor options.
3.) You did All You Humanly Could. It's never enough, but Please, consider remembering that.

In Closing,I'm still going to Wish You and Yours a Merry Christmas. You're the Old Man Now. Be It,Do It and Honor Your Pops by Being the Best Old Man You Can Be! Job 1 started this Morning! I am Proud to have met Your Acquaintence!
