Anyone here have any good home remedies for the common head cold? Sinus congestion, aches, coughing? I know it's something that you have to let take it's course but I'm getting impatient!

My normal winter routine is to eat the Vit C gummies along with drinking lots of OJ to overload on Vit C and I gargle with hot salt water daily to kill off the little bugs. Fortunately that holds off any sickness for me for most of the winter. I usually only get a cold as spring starts and i get away from the routine.

Some say Blackberry Brandy in tea with honey gives cold symptom relief. If not then triple up on the brandy and soon you won't care!

Staying home and not doing anything strenuous will help more than any miracle cure will ever do.... but Im all in for the brandy treatment too

Raw onion should clear up the congestion. Or a tablespoon of Vicks in some boiling water. Put a towel over your head and lean over and breathe deep.

Will American donkey urine work as effectively? I can never find the Mexican kind in my health store.

The"Americano" variety works just fine, don't let the Fine Folks at Jose Cuervo B.S. You! My understanding is that while Your busy trying All of these Helpful Tips, stay away from milk&other Dairy Products as they promote the formation of excess mucus while You're ill... Also, try some Hocker's Yogurt-You'll think it's Yogurt, but it's Snot!! I shall now Burn in Hell for this!

When I feel a cold coming on I take 1000mg Vit c, plus two buffered aspirin, and a glass of skim milk. Vit C works best with calcium from the milk. And the aspirin helps reduce the pain and swelling of stuffed up sinuses and sore throat.

I take that combo every four hours. The cold is not as severe and it only lasts a couple of days, instead of a week.

If I have any alcoholic drinks, it closes up my sinuses. Then I have to have more drinks so I don't care.

Sunny , in NYS the practice of Voodoo requires a license. If you are licensed I would like a doll pinning done .. how much?

So, Fillet of a fenny snake, In the cauldron boil and bake; Eye of newt and toe of frog, Wool of bat and tongue of dog, Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting, Lizard's leg and owlet's wing, For a charm of powerful trouble, Like a hell-broth boil and bubble. I am fresh out of toe of frog, the rest I have in the basement.
