Unplanned trip to doctor

I still have scars from my bout with shingles 6 years ago. If you see the Dr. ask about treatment. Many people have residual pain years after. Dr put me on an anti viral med and the drug given to people with diabetic nephropathy pain. It worked for me. I have the scars but no residual pain.

My dad had a bout with that last year and a good friend two years ago. My dad is a tough old dude. It was hard on him...
Both were uncomfortable for quit a while.

Just FYI...
After reading this thread this morning I was in CVS and asked the pharmacist about getting a Shingrex vaccination. She told me I could get on her waiting list of 100+ or come back in the Spring. It's in short supply/large demand.
