We're running two window units, one at each end of the house to keep the downstairs cool. We only run them during the day then open all the windows thru the nighttime hours.

On the other hand, my pool is 90+ degrees and not very refreshing at the moment lol. I've since shut off the passive solar panel loop.

Nice week coming up,low 80s tops . Low 60s at night.

I am up to 56k btu of AC, plus whatever the inlaws camper is drawing. Next months electric bill should be exciting.

My Trane is a 5 ton unit and the first quote was for a 3 ton but I insisted he put in a bigger system. Never regretted the overkill. I still get 16-17 degree between air return intake and the ducts. So my charge is still OK ... yes?. The unit never runs forever even in this weather. Fingers crossed.
