I have it, all the time. I only have 25% hearing in my right ear, so it's not really an issue there, but the left side is annoying.

I have only about 10% hearing remaining in my left ear, and I have whaling tinnitus in both ears.Wood'nCoal wrote:I have it, all the time. I only have 25% hearing in my right ear, so it's not really an issue there, but the left side is annoying.

I do get it from time to time in the right ear. Usually comes on suddenly and loudly.

Sometimes when we're walking in the woods, Melissa will ask me about a bird, or small animal call. When I give her a blank look, she says, "can't you hear that? " I just tell her, no because there's too many crickets around there.

I frequently can't tell where sounds are coming from, but that's due to my hearing loss.
I have read many people with tinnitus run a fan in the bedroom at night, I do from time to time. I usually wake up to the ringing sort of screeching sound in the morning.

Mine is in harmony. People say it's from hot rod cars, jets, and machinery. But my mother had it in her early 20s, and they say it can be hereditary. I wasn't that old when it started. A"peaceful" nights rest is a thing of the past.
When I put on a fan, the Mrs. complains, and my electrical meters spins faster than I want it to.

I heard that a pillow over the head solves this type of tinnitus.gaw wrote:My wife claims to hear noises like someone snoring at night. I never hear it. I think she may have tinnitus too.
