Tha definitely sounds like something out of star Trek. :) I wonder is this even accurate, I would like to try it someday...

There have been studies that indicate dogs are able to detect illness through scent. I guess the scientists have now figured out how to determine the scent the dogs were keying on.

Yes, a well trained dog can find melanoma in seconds. Amazing.
