And all this time I thought that cannabis held the cure for all things bad and that is why it was outlawed because the drug companies could not patent it. What next?

If smoking Cannabis alters your DNA, then using it in an attempt to cure (or at the very least mitigate) cancer is clearly way off base. Radiation is much better for you in this regard.

I'm replying here because I was an environmental chemist from 1985 to 1990. Then it has been Pharmaceutical & Vaccine chemist since then. 2004 to 2010 I tested Mustargen a last chance cancer medication. That was some really nasty stuff. If not handled properly you could turn it into mustard gas which is not to be fooled with at all. I learned a lot during those 2 time periods about cancer causing agents because I love to learn and especially learn how to protect myself from coming in contact with these cancer causing /DNA altering chemicals. Plus my Dad a coal miner from age 10 to 48. 1925 to 1962. He was the oldest of 7 so when my grandfather hurt himself in the coal mines of Shenandoah, Pa he had to quit school before finishing 4th grade and become a beaker boy. I can not imagine a 10 year old doing that today in our soft society. I think it would have killed me as a 10 year old. It stills inspires me to this day at age 53 when I think I can't do something. I tell myself shut up you cry baby look what your dad did. I only wish I could be as strong willed as he was. He got prostate cancer in 1981 which then metastasized to bone cancer which killed him on March 23th 1982. That's my main reason for researching as much as possible about cancers.
Here's a link to common chemicals that can do you in by altering your DNA then causing cancer.
http://www.cancer.org/cancer/cancercauses/othercarcinogens/g ... arcinogens
So I just wanted to get some info out there about a lot of other chemicals that are not are friend if used improperly.
