I realize what you guys are saying, but it's always good to see there if a glimmer of hope! Maybe someday or maybe not!

Well, they should be more than just "promising" if the hypothesis was correct.
That's how you test your hypothesis ... by testing it to fail. And it must have failed. So, he needs to admit his original hypothesis was wrong and needs modification and re-testing or just continue to make false claims.
Not to say his work is junk at all ... but science demands more than proclamations.
If one does not like criticism and in-your-face confrontation, stay out of the realm of science .... that's how it works ..

There is a lot more money in the process of finding a cure for cancer than actually finding a cure for cancer. All the money for research will be gone as soon as someone finds a cure.
