Ok.. Just talked to Hambden Bob, via a Sat phone, ham radio, cell phone and land line relay and this is what is going on with our resident ole coot aka FreetownFred.

Fred had some surgery as we all know. He will however need some more surgery in a few weeks to finish things off and get him back up on the ole "Porcelain Throne" that he so longs to rule up on the "Hill". Latest report has Fred chasing 2 nurses on foot down the halls of the hospital with a roll of toilet paper in one hand and an " IV banana bag" in the other. You can infer what that means on your own. :D

Look for Fred to pay us a visit here on NEPA in 48 to 72 hours.

Hope this helps...

OD

Latest update is the Dr's ordered 30cc of IV Thorazine and have him snowed on 30mg of Ativan as well. One nurse is currently undergoing some rather intenese therapy I am sorry to report. Seems Fred's hospital gown slipped off during his rampage down the hall. :o

Thanks for the update, I guess it might still be awhile until we hear from Freetown but it's good to know that so far so good. I wouldn't worry about the nurses too much, they only get caught if they want to & have pretty much seen most everything. ;)

They had me up and walking with 24 hours after my resectIon, so that is great news that Fred is mobile. I'm thinking he'll spend five nights there. A soon as he has a bowel movement they will send him home.

:eek2:

I'll echo what Sam said. It's good to hear he is up and at it.

Now as far as the nurses go, it should be real easy to catch them. They will be bent over laughing and out of breath from laughing at having seen Fred nekked........

HB, thx for the comeback!!! I was becoming concerned. Now as long as they don't mix Viagra with his usual meds; I'm sure the nurses will survive.

Hell yes, I'm back on the hill with a new bag on my upper intestine-I was operated on about 3PM Fri & up & walking early Sat morning--no diet restrictions & he told me I could even continue with my sexual activities  -Doc said he didn't want to take any chances on the final reconnect in 6-8 weeks--NICE summary OD--thank you:) He went back in the old incision about 14" worth--WTF--I'm stapled  toothy This Doc is doing an outstanding job & he's in no hurry to possibly screw up, which I respect-- I'm hittin the old recliner after doin a couple Tylenol w/ codeine- Damn it's good to be home with the critters & all you guys that I am truly grateful for all the thoughts & prayers. Later my GOOD friends:)
