Its more than a spike in cases in a few localities and I read enough news and statistics that I dont have to believe the LSM and dont. Its pretty much the whole state here and all ages. of course big cities have more but its really spread out in rural areas too. Iowa is a complete mess because of a worthless Governor, over 15% of tests there being positive and she never really has done much to even try to slow it. I would understand this if it wasnt for the fact that we are just months away from a vaccine but its like she is completely after herd immunity with little reason. Im not saying to shut down like this spring but schools being open in their situation is stupid yet she forces them to open thru the courts. I guess you can tell Im not a fan of her but living a few miles from that state (Iowa) I am affected by her actions. The other 3 states that border me are not a lot better but Wisconsin at least is trying. I feel like the cheese inside a sandwich with those states surrounding me as it doesnt matter what we do when we are *censored* on from each side, being in the middle. I guess near the Canadian border is better but not many live in that frozen tundra ;)

I wouldnt mind digging the hole gaw but I'd probably be crazier than I am now if I lived in it

Canada and the U.K. are in the second “wave” bounce of the infection ball. No thanksgiving maybe no Christmas too For Canada.
If you look as Massachusetts it’s looks like it’s starting and will climb by next month.

Just trying to change an election. Other then that it is the flu. Cast your dice, see where they land. It has always been this way until Trump got elected...

For the Massholes here!
Look at the state stats...
https://www.mass.gov/doc/covid-19-dashboard-septe ... 0/download
Page 8 of this pdf Testing by date the light blue line is '%of tested individuals who are positive'...
This is the key number, just watch the general trend...
The last three days don't really settle till day four due to testing lag...
Friday % is usually peak of the week...
Match that against the numbers tested for individuals on page 7...
The taller bar is for repeated tests...
Weekends and holidays drop the testing numbers...
The other key marker is 3 day average of covid patients in hospital on page 2...
Two of the regional school districts already have covid positive student...
More to come as the contact tracers do their job...
Our district just picked up one student and a bus driver...

Yes, the % positive and number hospitilized are 2 of the important numbers. You have the numbers figured out Cape. Gotta dig into them to get past the daily reported numbers. MN has been around 5% for quite a while. IA at 15%. Im unsure about my other 3 neighbor states but its high there too.

Fred, I dont know but I know its getting worse here. And its colder so bound to go up as its cold season now and covid is a cold.

Political yes. If Iowa goes to Biden you can thank their Republican Governor for her not giving a crap attitude. She wasnt even going to do anything about the meat plants until Trump stepped in forcing them to stay open but provided masks and distancing and it helped and worked. I could say more about her but wont. Voters wont remember Trumps part but will remember hers and some will vote Dem because of it. She's a real POS.

Must be terrible to remain in a state that is encroaching you on a regular basis. Maybe there is hope that things will change for you in November.

Fred, we never get the numbers right. Times the positive testing rate by five or six times and that’s how many are effected but don’t show it or it’s to small of a show.
