I think FF may have been referring to members that are bee keepers in his statement. I'm not sure though.

I'm truly curious how they would eradicate them as they stated they will try and do in the article. It doesn't sound very easy to do with these hornets. Maybe Mcgiever can give a possible explanation, which would be great. It really does seem like a difficult task that needs to be done considering all the other things that are hurting the bee population in the U.S.

True, it could be early yet, but I figured that you folks would be about 3 weeks ahead of us up here. I know our bee people here really don't start up till late May. I have an Amish neighbor that does bees, he sets them up to pollinate for people. His honey is "top shelf".

Well, I guess it's about the same here, I just figured you being south of me you might be a bit ahead.....lol...I still have some snow on the ground, mostly in the wooded areas though.

J, I'm right in the middle of the snow belt here on the hill (Freetown,NY 13803)--20 minutes away & is closest village (Marathon) & temp wise we're always 10* colder & get twice as much snow when it actually snows--Cortland--45 minutes away ya can at least double what ever they're gettin, but that's the closest city--to me it's a city!!! LOL
