Nice day yesterday morning and I decided to pressure wash to side of the house that never sees the sun and gets moldy. So with my 2 year old $1000 Simpson washer that sprays up 40 ft I can do it I use that monster all over and it is great. So I load it with gas and get it running, put it into the front bucket of the Cat 755. That way I do not have to climb ladders. Then it is up the steep hill for a mornings work. Drinking coffee and feeling good but forget about a small boulder and the side of the Cat goes up and with the bucket 10 in the air out comes the pressure washer.

Its value is 9.8 m/s2 on Earth. I timed it. I lost the coffee as well

The washer is terminal.

Thank you very much.

It always has to be the most reliable piece of equipment on the entire ranch too.

You didn't observe the OSHA safety rules of having the bucket only high enough to maneuver and control your speed, adding a $500 fine for distracted driving, (coffee) and it should total about $15,000. Just send it in, don't make the black suvs and helicopters come in.

Probably salvage the pump also, if he ever gets out of jail after OSHA gets done with him.

Instead of coffee if he had been drinking beer, after consuming enough of them he would have decided that the house didn't need pressure washing after all and would have been spared all this grief.

Substitute Vodka for beer and you have the Russian solution...
You will be cold in the winter because you did not put up enough coal in time...
Must run the Cat on ice and snow...
So can only make one bucket run...
Again due to Vodka intake...
But you will have friends...
and be happy...
While the Vodka lasts...
LOL...

That stinks. Tough to tell if the fall did all of that, or if you ran over it as well.

That would imply beer or vodka.....

Gravity is interesting.. Because of gravity, things at higher elevation have potential energy. When it falls, the potential energy is then converted to kinetic energy. Upon impact the kenetic energy is transferred to the ground. Since the Earth obviously has more mass than said falling object it suffers a huge g-force of shock. Quite often the object is not capable of bearing this instantaneous transfer of kenetic energy and it collapses...
