I didn’t know they were spraying that much Roundup out in Oregon but it seems to have contaminated the water supply.

For me, the bible commands that I take care of my animals, livestock and pets, and so I do that to the best of my ability, however what constitutes as "taking care of" can be subjective.

Compared to some, even some on here, I am mean to my dog. She is outside, everyday, in any weather, and we never love on her, play with her, or bring her into the house....

But she is also a working dog, a livestock guard dog, so that is her job, and she does it well. To love on her would draw her focus from protecting the sheep, to us, and we cannot have that. Thankfully she is protected from the cold by her thick fur, and otherwise is very happy going in and out of the barn, so it is not that she does not have cover...she does, but for someone with say a therapy dog, they could easily think we are mean to our dog.

I beg to differ. Myself...I think those that crate a dog all day and think that it is doing the animal good, should try being crammed into a crate for 8 hours, but that is just my thoughts, I would never sue on behalf of the dog! I sure hope that crated dog never talks to my dog who's kennel 24/7/365 days a year, is 37 acres of pasture!

As for my dog, she is incredible at her job. We told our daughters, if anyone ever scares you and you fear for your safety, get in the barn or inside the pasture, our dog will protect you. She looks benign, but has taken on (2) coyotes, and killed (2) fox. She is nearing retirement now, but once we bring her in the house to live out her days in peace and quiet, I am pretty sure we will never have to lock the door.

Opened up a whole can of worms (might be another reason to sue) when they decided that Corporations are people! Now with the over abundance of under employed lawyers what should we expect? Soon we may see your favorite veggie in a legal battle with meat!
