We’ve got about 6-7 inches of fresh powder here today, absolutely love seeing nothing but snow covered pines around the house with no one in sight.

Indeed HB. Turned to freezing rain/snow mix here on the hill. It's like a damn skating rink out there.

Was mid 50's earlier, now down to 51* and no rain all day. Suppose to drop temps whenever cold front comes.

Prefect view my a**.. the steering clutches on the Bombardier are worn out ..there goes my main plower. The AMT 600 took a dump and that is how we get horse manure to the back .. and the water lines froze in the barn as someone forgot to drain them . I got 50 more things that broke as it's winter. If one more person around here tells me it's a winter wonderland I will smack them.

Love the snow pics! We had about 6" drop here in the last couple days. It's been raining since 9AM. Down to about 4" of snow presently. Will make an excellent base for snowmobiling if it quits raining soon. Haven't dared to move the snow in the driveway, don't have enough energy to sand the whole thing so let the snow suck it up then move it.

Buckle up folks, bitter cold immediately following this wet stuff.

There are pros and cons to each season. Personally I enjoy the lack of insects and lawn mowing this time of year.

The break from the insects is nice..
I love mowing my lawn.... but i suppose it would be quite the trial mowing on these cold days :P

I do like having the 4 seasons,i just wish winter was less cold, less snow & shorter. :)

BUT, i don't like the HOT/HUMID times either, luckily that is usually for a short period here.

Having 4 seasons helps one appreciate each season change more.

I dread snow partly because a snowfall around 12" means i have to clean my house roof & part of my shop roof. It was bad enough when i had my wife to help ,but alone it will be brutal.
Can't figure why anyone would build a roof so flat in snow country !!!! :x

We have a winter wonderland outside. Ice on the apples trees glistening in the sun, And snow on everything else. 15 degrees, sunny, and still. Best Christmas Eve weather I can remember.
