Maybe for you. I heard the crickets last week of July first week of August.

Marked calendar in pencil cause of the drought around here. Thought they were just thirsty.

We had first frost on 9-16 and the next 3 days. That's 5 weeks 5 days to 6 weeks 1 day.

Close enough for Mother Nature.

Haven't heard them - rains been too loud, but the cat was chasing one around the kitchen last night. Maybe that one just got tired of treading water.

Some crispy water yesterday morning. Extra crispy water this morning. Even the crickets have a fire going.

Call it 6 weeks +/- written in pencil not pen, cause of all the rain we had.

Crickets were chirping two weeks ago. Been rather quiet lately. May of been drinking Kool aide with the lack of rain.

Marked the calendar in pencil. Frost the middle of September. We'll see how close they are.

Crispy crickets this morning. All have their white coats on. Two weeks ago only a few crickets had coats on.

Frost valley,Potter County had frost 4 weeks ago.

Pretty good timing "mother nature" clock.
