The Belgium mare that threw the still born foals is comin into heat again. Neighbor brought his Belgium stud over today. We'll see if she lets him breed her. Gestation is about 12 months. He took the 2 yr old Percheron mare & will put her to some light plowing. Percheron pix from last fall.

Good luck with your breeding. Im not around horses much anymore but always enjoy watching the Amish work horses and horse pulls. I'd rather watch a horse pull than a John Deere pull.
Better watch it David. Karma is gonna turn around on you and a horse is gonna take a big bite out of you. If you've ever seen a horse bite, it aint pretty!

Still goin from last Sept J. Black horse pix from last fall. Others, today.

I an wife were out to Lancaster Amish country .A small boy an 6 mules were plowing a field and a dog was with them .We watched as they plowed to end of field an then turned around .What a wonderfull sight .Truly a reminder of a simple uncluttered life .Fred post reminded me .Jack

Just a bunch of courtin goin on at this point J. I know she's kicked the hell out of the stud horse a couple times!!!!!!
