another diary farmer friend, has a NH running gear, was under his forage wagon, last year, while his wife was pulling it chopping corn and turning back to make another pass, front wheel sunk in soft spot while turning,3/4 load on wagon. Needless to say... something had to give, tractor no, chopper NO!, it was rectangular cross tube, by front steer wheel... Good news its mine... but it needs to be fixed. No biggie... can order round radius rectangular tube from steel suppliers. Steering tie rod bars can be straightened in press with V-blocks
Will have to call lumber yard get some Hemlock 4"x8" x 16.5' beams cut. Rest of ruff lumber they stock up to 20' lengths, and cross ties will pressure treated 4x4", and about 500 galvinized carriage bolts, washer & nuts.- wilder11354
