I'm not sure if I'm posting this it the right place,
I thought I would start this thread about old and unusual things , picked up at flea markets , yard sales , swap meets or whatever . I collect old tools and other old unusual things . I picked this up the other day for 2 bucks. I think it was a good deal. I would be interested in seeing good finds from others

I do love oil lamps. I just bought a new one that's galvanized and painted so it should last forever.

Nice lantern , shouldn't rust that's for sure. In my younger days I worked on a demo job in downtown Pittsburgh . It was in the basement of an old PNC bank. I acquired a few old railroad lamps. A few of them had red colored glass . I gave most away but I think I still have one . I will dig it out and post a pic. Thanks for posting

This is a 1964 skidoo that my gramps bought in 1964. My sons and I hauled it out of the woods on his property and are going to restore it.

I just went out to the barn to find that post hole digger, looks like yours Fred. You know you should get that out of the weather. If you ever want to use it .pap always said if you got a good tool pita roof over it. Good advise

Those are better off hanging outside as they are no fun to use!

You know what I did for a post hole digger guys? I welded two pieces of pipe onto an old auger I found in the woods and it make a perfect round hole . Not too much fun for one person but can be done but with a friend you can really crank out some holes! Picture to later come

1959 Nash Metropolitan at work. The owner of the company I work for doesn't have any interest in the car but I can't stand to see old cars sit so I keep it running and clean it up from time to time then put it back into its dark hole in the shop
Puma White Hunter knife , my uncle gave to my brother and I when one of our other uncles passed away . Interesting knife that I had never seen before. Apparently worth some money .
old drivers license issued in 1937 from Pineville SC to a Colored Male , related to biggie smalls possibly? HAHA . I found this in an old foundation behind my house a few years back
Interesting bullets I found in that same foundation 25-20 and 25 cal.
I have a small collection of monkey wrenches as well (called gasers in England) and a bunch of old and sometimes unusual or odd stuff. So I will keep posting off and on- Smokeyja

I had to post this one! It is very old and very unusual . In fact I have never seen but this one in my life. I did a bunch of research on it at one time but now I can't find the name of it.
This is a stone that is perfectly round and naturally made by a whirlpool in the river . I found it walking in a park here in VA . I saw the top of a stone and dug it out and it was this...
