I'm not sure if I'm posting this it the right place,
I thought I would start this thread about old and unusual things , picked up at flea markets , yard sales , swap meets or whatever . I collect old tools and other old unusual things . I picked this up the other day for 2 bucks. I think it was a good deal. I would be interested in seeing good finds from others

I do love oil lamps. I just bought a new one that's galvanized and painted so it should last forever.

Nice lantern , shouldn't rust that's for sure. In my younger days I worked on a demo job in downtown Pittsburgh . It was in the basement of an old PNC bank. I acquired a few old railroad lamps. A few of them had red colored glass . I gave most away but I think I still have one . I will dig it out and post a pic. Thanks for posting

This is a 1964 skidoo that my gramps bought in 1964. My sons and I hauled it out of the woods on his property and are going to restore it.

You know what I did for a post hole digger guys? I welded two pieces of pipe onto an old auger I found in the woods and it make a perfect round hole . Not too much fun for one person but can be done but with a friend you can really crank out some holes! Picture to later come

1959 Nash Metropolitan at work. The owner of the company I work for doesn't have any interest in the car but I can't stand to see old cars sit so I keep it running and clean it up from time to time then put it back into its dark hole in the shop

I had to post this one! It is very old and very unusual . In fact I have never seen but this one in my life. I did a bunch of research on it at one time but now I can't find the name of it.
This is a stone that is perfectly round and naturally made by a whirlpool in the river . I found it walking in a park here in VA . I saw the top of a stone and dug it out and it was this...
