I'm glad we got done putting up 2nd cutting yesterday & didn't have anything else on the ground. This one sounded like a damn locomotive coming over the hills. Oh well, I guess the farmers need it---NOT--15 minutes into this one & the back creek has already breached her banks--must be that global warming stuff  toothy

Fred, we had that nature's light show most of last night with two &1/2 inches of rain. This morning there was no TV, internet or cell phone but the coffee pot worked, would have given a heads up if I could have. ;)

I think Fred's grill floated down the creek. He took a snap shot just before things really got bad. Must be all that coal burning coming back to haunt him.

Free canoe trips down to the barn - $5. Today, I thought our hay guy was going to get a bumper second cutting and it would dry nicely. :taz: Where did that c rap come from and with zillion dollar computers you can't give us 12 hours notice.---- Useless. Now you want me to sit through 30 second beer commercial so you can then tell me what sort of a winter we are going to have. Forgedaboutit.

Nice Fred!

I agree with you, put up the last of my 2nd cut Monday evening finished about 7pm. knew the rain was "PREDICTED" anyway.

Got about 2 inches also here in Southern PA.

I only have 2 more sections and the haying is all done for this year most likely unless we get a spectacular Sept and warm early Oct... Doubtful. So I'll powerwash the Round baler soon. (I know.... But I like to clean up the equipment at least once per year anyway!)

Nice Mark, if you don't take care of it, it's got no real reason to take care of you--my Grandfather told me that one. ;) This 2nd cutting is the thickest I've seen in years:)

You didn't need to send it in this direction! We had a big rain yesterday while driving. We had to slow to a dead crawl for a minute or two.

Hay around here is rich & thick this year. You can see the bales in the fields seem almost double a usual year.

We had a nice slow soaker all day yesterday. I hope I get a chance to mow or I’ll be making hay.
