Still have 19 hours to do what you need ... Modern electric cars don't need to be
charged every day for the average driver.
This is more proof we need "Time of day" rates for all customers ,have an economy
rate when power is plentiful and a higher rate when stressed, the power needed for
all days has to be set to the highest demand amount , which adds a lot of cost to
to the utilities facilities.
In PA they put in smart meters and don't even use them, they also don't have off peak
rates at least in Erie . My friend called and they had no idea what he was talking about.

A big dilemma i fore see with renewable energy is paying fo back up fossil fuel power plants. Recently in Pennsylvania it was decided that we shouldn't subsidies the remains three mile island nuclear plant . The plants owners stated they cant compete with at that time low priced fracked natural gas power plant. They asked the legislature to approve a subsidy , it was denied. In this time we should be keeping on existing nuclear plants even if they cost some more due to their lack of green house gases( yea they have other pollutants ) Pennsylvania would have been better served by keeping that plant running

Welcome to the past, BB. Long waits to refuel. Rationing of amounts of fuel. Only able to buy on odd or even numbered days depending on your license plate number. Failure of the fuel production and delivery systems.
Some of us have already lived through your future, back in the 1970s - no thanks.

It makes sense, I mean the constant output from 3 power plants are going to put out way more power than one occasionally running windmill.

Follow the money. That's where the only green side is.
