I have a more scientific way of dealing with this problem. Look at the company profile. Would you buy a car from any of those guys ? Then again, we put black rocks in a box and set it on fire.

🤷‍♂️

I’m neither for or against. Still no tech posted. Kinda funny because reading the posts it’s obvious no one has read the website in its entirety before posting opinions.

I’ve found that most times I’ve posted for comments regarding hard tech on this forum, all that is posted is either bullshit or insults.

It didn’t used to be that way.

I find it interesting that the Holyoke Massachusetts power company is partnering with them.

Winter Madness,Scal,Cabin Fever,Plain And Simple. No One's stopped caring here. You always bring Good Food to Our Table. On the subject of my Piss Poor deliveries of "Lower Than Daft Humor, and the delivery timing of it,I offer this : "Hell,I've usually debased myself first while bringing whack job off-beat humor as I'm just not worth it". Yes,I feel it's valid that alot of Folks have a "Burr In Their Backside" when it comes to "New Green Technology" trying to erase what We currently do,what We are. The Good News? There are no Luddites here. Folks will tear into this, and reveal it's Merits. Stick Around,as I do believe You'll get the appraisal You'd hoped for when You cared enough to bring this to Us...Take Good Care,My Friend!

The Federal government has mandated that all power generating companies bankrupt themselves with a percentage of new green energy. Your local company picked Floooooid Power deal with the mandate. Whether it works or not is of no importance. They can file the paperwork and say " Look, we tried real hard ". Flooid Power cans say " Look, we tried to help ". Everybody has a job, everybody gets paid. I dealt with these type of projects my entire working career. Had a customer that got 10M from the DOE every year to figure out how to burn all sorts of things. Peach pits, cherry pits, rice hulls, all sorts of nut shells. They sent drawings, we built what they wanted. They took pictures, made a report and off to the next project. Did any of it work ? Nobody knew or cared.

The key element is the claim that their air compressor uses only half the electricity of the best alternative.

Without access to proof of concept models it is just talk so far.

Plenty of tech posted by us coal guys. Only the vaguest of pseudo-tech posted by the Flooid guys.

I suspect Holyoke Gas & Electric says, "Sure. You produce some power, and we will buy it, because the PUC says we have to." That's not exactly "partnering". A Google search for HG&E plus Flooid finds no hits.

Per the Securities and Exchange Commission, and Google Maps, here is Flooid's corporate headquarters, should anyone want to visit.

After my first post I did investigate the website. And from what I see it works just how I described it.. with the exception that its not solar. It uses ambient heat.. why would they detail how the towers work without splaining how this "ambient heat" is used? Curious minds want to know.

That's the prove me wrong instead of offering information to prove you are right.

I have gone over the website, also a few newspaper articles and even Youtube video. It's pretty much the same old, same old as you see on any of these free energy sites. Wild claims about the mysterious tech that somehow defies physics with lack of detail. I sear they must all share some boilerplate templte for their webiste.

One of the things mentioned in the newspaper article was their claim for compressors 50% more efficient. If you look on their site Emax is listed as one of their partners, I'm not familiar with the brand but you can buy an Emax compressor at any box store.
“We have a heat pump that is 300% more efficient than the best heat pumps on the planet,” Maynard said. “We spend 50% less energy to compress air than a normal compressor, and we capture 100% of the heat in the process.”
That is some pretty wild claims. Also I would like to know, 100% of what heat? "Heat" is energy and we describe this as being hot at higher levels and cold at lower levels. If you are to capture 100% of the heat you are lowering the temperature to −459.67 °F

All those free energy websites say that. A quick glance at the picture, gravity works both ways on either chamber. Any gravitational energy on the right side could never be more than what was used on the left to overcome gravity.
This adding air to a column of liquid to lift it higher than a non-aerated liquid it's connected to, actually works.

I'm not saying this gizmo works, but the concept sure does. And most of us have used a sample of it. In fact it's been in everyday use for over 100 years.

It's the main discharge tube in carburetors. Air is pushed into the discharge tube (after the main jet) through "emulsion" holes - tiny holes in the discharge tube that connect to a small channel leading to the higher air pressure of atmospheric air outside the carb. Without that ability to have the fuel come out of the discharge tube at a higher level than the fuel level in the carb's float bowl, raw fuel would leak out when the engine is off and flood the engine, making restarting very difficult..... unless you always parked facing down hill. :D

So, there's 100 years of every carburetor "proof of concept" for at least part of that gizmo. ;) Paul

Lol!! Brush up on your reading comprehension skills! Holy 💩!!!

This is the fourth time I’ve said I’m neither for or against it. I don’t need or want to “prove” anything either way😝😝😝

Oh, and by the way, posting what someone thinks is fact, is not fact. When what you think are facts, especially when it comes to physics, be kind and post a link to a known source like MIT, RPI, a technical journal or paper.

This way the bullshit stays off the thread and it stays on track.

Bah! Here's a physics question: If you drop an egg onto concrete from the fourth floor fire escape, do you need a link to MIT to tell you what will happen?
