You can't power the AC unit in your house all night and have power to drive your car....you are tripping on acid again.

Why not? SolarCity made billions installing made in China residential panels subsidized by US taxpayers to the tune of 30% at the federal level. They have only operated in states with significant incentives themselves, typically in the 20 to 30 percent range. Effectively the taxpayer is subsidizing Chinese manufacturers.
