I have a job that a wood boiler is 400 ft from the house . The house uses some of the hydronic heat . The inaccessible 24 volt control wire is broken and beyond repair is anyone aware of a device that upon a 24 volt signal will transmit via wifi to another wifi receiver that will emit a 24 volt signal to close a ice cube relay to bring on the primary loop pump for this system. I can seem to find one.
any help would be appreciated.

I Googled "24 volt wireless switch" and it led me to stuff I really don't understand, but there were companies offering equipment, short range and long range. In my mind there is a distinction between "wi fi" and "wireless" -- wi fi involving computer equipment/protocols, and wireless being just that, like a car key fob or a garage door opener. Maybe you only need "wireless" for the problem you described.

What is the reason for the wifi ?

Do you have 120v at the boiler ?

If so you could use a RC relay with a 120>24v a/c transformer.

Example:

https://www.amazon.com/DONJON-Household-Appliance ... ooghydr-20

This would be able to operate the pump directly if it is 120/240V a/c , no need for 24v a/c.

The rc usually dont have the range as its 400 feet away with trees in between . To closee out the story we found a coaxial cable int he cable bundle that wasn't being used , and we are using that now to transmit a 24 volt control signal to the wood boiler pump and all is well and money and effort saved.

That is called thinking outside the box. Great solution.

Give credit where credit is due ,it was my son the tech Ed teacher whose idea it was .Every day I have to admit he has surpassed the old man,but that’s the way it should be .

we did find some wifi relays that would work but salty and activation voltage was 24 volt dc , so it s not cut and dry but possible that was our search anyway
