Using digital antennae down in this hole to get nightly news on television.
You don't need a "digital" antennae, that's marketing hype. If you get reception with 50 year old antenna which is 100% compatible there is nothing you can do to improve it. If you are not getting reception a better antenna may improve it.

A lot people complain about not getting reception when they had it previously. The thing about digital is it's all or nothing. So if you were getting poor reception from channel previously you'll get nothing with digital. As I understand another issue is they can use a lot lower power with digital, they underestimated the amount of power needed to for same distance.

The 50 year old antenna’s been gone 25 years or I’d be using it. Lol! Need to buy another to get these out of windows...get a real antenna up on a pole.
