Better safe than sorry although Snopes says false.
Don’t forget tomorrow starts the new Facebook rule where they can use your photos. Don't forget Deadline today!!! It can be used in court cases in litigation against you. Everything you've ever posted becomes public from today Even messages that have been deleted or the photos not allowed. It costs nothing for a simple copy and paste, better safe than sorry. Channel 13 News talked about the change in Facebook's privacy policy. I do not give Facebook or any entities associated with Facebook permission to use my pictures, information, messages or posts, both past and future. With this statement, I give notice to Facebook it is strictly forbidden to disclose, copy, distribute, or take any other action against me based on this profile and/or its contents. The content of this profile is private and confidential information. The violation of privacy can be punished by law (UCC 1-308- 1 1 308-103 and the Rome Statute. NOTE: Facebook is now a public entity. All members must post a note like this. If you prefer, you can copy and paste this version. If you do not publish a statement at least once it will be tacitly allowing the use of your photos, as well as the information contained in the profile status updates. FACEBOOK DOES NOT HAVE MY PERMISSION TO SHARE PHOTOS OR Messages.
Copy, Paste and Breathe

The best advice is, don't go anywhere near Facebook, don't ever give them any of your information. Facebook is an Op-Sec nightmare and no matter what you agree to or what the law says they are selling your information to third parties.

This is a social media site. ;) Facebook is pretty much the next evolution.

Back in the early 80's it started out with Bulletin Board sytems. You had to dial in, of course you needed to know the phone number etc. The format would not be so different than a modern forum. Late 80's an early 90's when limited internet access became available Usenet became very popular, once again very similar to a modern forum. Late nineties forum software had matured and they dominated up until *censored* facebook came on the scene. :D

phpBB 1 circa 2001 which is the predecessor of what you are using now.

I never had a Facebook account until I bought a google phone one time. They wouldn’t activate the phone until I made a Facebook account. I should have tossed it in the trash.

THats a hoax, been around a long while. a lot different types of messages circulating over the years.

usually anything that says share, copy/paste, etc.... is typically some type of hoax or scam. LOL

Richard - I ran the Enchanted Mountain BBS back in the late 80's into the 90's before all the internet stuff came along. Dial up thru AOL I think! LOL. My server/computer back then had a whopping 256K of memory, 6 SCSI HardDrives, I think the biggest was 30Mb! mostly 10 or 20Mb all daisy chained. technology sure has changed.

Hey Lee,
I am originally from Olean and ran the BBS in Olean at home. I think it ran FoxFire software? or something. had all kinds of forum topics, photos, etc.....

I live in the Village of Cuba now. just off main street. I also do (did) a lot for the Palmer Opera House, LIghts, Sound, LIve Stream, setup, roadie stuff. etc....

Also, roady/sound for Relentless (then Zephyr (with Pete Farris) way back in High school (80's). LOL
