Another big wind project to supply power in Texas...

https://cleantechnica.com/2018/03/29/texas-blue-c ... struction/

https://cleantechnica.com/2018/03/29/wind-solar-b ... uels-bnef/

“Some existing coal and gas power stations, with sunk capital costs, will continue to have a role for many years, doing a combination of bulk generation and balancing, as wind and solar penetration increase. But the economic case for building new coal and gas capacity is crumbling, as batteries start to encroach on the flexibility and peaking revenues enjoyed by fossil fuel plants.”

148 MW power grid gets financing to proceed.

Most ALL views will leave out the parts of the whole story that would NOT support their agenda.

That's right...I say ALL, so it is all biased...take what you will...and leave the rest. :out:

And indoor plumbing will never catch on...who would poop where they eat and sleep.

I'm only against alternative energy sources when they require subsidies and/or legislation bent upon any means of limiting the competition. I'm all for a fully open and level playing field where all energy sources can compete against each other purely on merit.

I don't give a *censored* if power comes from illegals running in a hamster wheel, What I care about is when I open the fridge the beer better be cold and the light better come on, that's it. The government and the power companies know this and will do all they can to deliver.

Switch to whisky and you don't need to worry if the fridge, or the government is working.

Those old Irish monks knew what you could count on working.

Only shows that ONE Politician can throw his weight...that's all I read...and his term in office is but a mere blip in time.

Bet some Smart people loaded up when the stocks took a nice dip, though. :shifty:

There are rather large dynamics at play here and it is obvious that not everyone has a good seat to view.
