Hi All,
When I attached the photo's in Freddy's 1-27-18 Coffee discussion, I noticed some pictures residing there that I nor my wife ever took. The pictures were of a family dinner gathering and church event. What has always scared the hell out of me is "unauthorized" picture downloading by my devices. I rarely keep my Samsung S3 smartphone on and usually always have the settings turned off including any sharing,Bluetooth, WIFI, location, Sbeam, etc. And with somethings I'm very stingy so nobody ever-ever gets to use my phone and certainly no one has ever used my computers.

So my question is how could these photo's ever get into my picture file let alone computer. Also all of my flash drives were new purchases - never used hand me downs.

Has anyone here ever experienced this? Fortunately they weren't pornographic or sex photos, given today's short fuse on such photo's and with the proliferation of files in computers today how would anyone ever know?

Residing where? In your gallery on your phone? In a folder on your computer?

So who took the pictures? A relative? A stranger? Were the pictures sent to you in a text message by a friend or relative that also attended the family gatherings/church event?

Where did the pictures come from?

The pictures seemingly came from neither my wife (she doesn't use computers, phones, or camera's) nor myself or my elderly Mom. Hell, I have no kids or close relatives. The people and setting are complete strangers with no resemblance to any relatives . I realize some products provide sample photo's but these certainly aren't staged and sadly I take so few photo's. And as I said, my equipment never, ever leaves my side (I'm paranoid that way) and if we are away for a day everything goes into a locked safe. And also to get into the file it's in I would have had to create it. This is indeed strange and scary. I can see why Trump is skittish!!

S, on a serious note, it's pure proof of how reliable the security aspect of all this really is. I been thinkin lately of how capable "LifeLock" would be to do whatever they want just to get customers & no trail back to them. I wonder how much $$$ Rick from Pawn Stars pays them? Not paranoid, just a realist. If people are out there, they're fair game for ANYTHING! :(

If it was something you uploaded here, Maybe something is up with this forum database, you should ask Richard the admin, maybe a link got messed up in the database and it's bringing up some other photo was not yours? you could go into your post and delete the photo(s) and re-upload them or something, or try another photo test in another forum.

If it's not on this forum and on your home computer, If you 're running windows, sometimes the screen saver images will show all kinds of other pics from the internet, etc....that are not on your computer.
