Comcast has been after me for a year or so to upgrade my modem. Everytime they inquire, I tell them to send one and I'd hook it up. End of story, never hear anymore until the next time and still no modem.

Was looking around and calculating what this rented modem has cost me over the years...jeez that's quite a bit.

Amazon to the rescue. Refurbed Arris arrived in 6 days, Prime didn't work for this I guess.

Old tested 12M up, 93.77 down. New tests 12 up, 220.5 down. Holy batchit!

You wouldn't believe how quick FF's movie loaded tonight what with the sheep and all. :lol:
