I haven't switched yet I'm waiting for my plan to hit the anniversary, but a couple of my co workers say it's better than any plan they have had!

Interestingly enough, my sister has Straight Talk and her phone will link up to my Verizon extender. Only Verizon customers can link to that extender.

I got two identical phones one for me and one for my wife, dealing with the hindos that speak broken english to get the phones working is a nightmare. I ended up abanding the service cause there was a problem with her phone she called and got it fixed....well they jacked up my phone...i call get it fixed.....hers doesnt work....she calls gets it fixed, mine stops working. So I said F it and gave up on mine. The call quality is good the internet is good, once you get it working its fine. I would advise you to find out what phone network the model of phone you chose runs on and see it it works well in your area. the couple android phones run on sprints network so if sprint doesnt work where you are then the android wont work.

We tried it for a few months and what a night mare ,as our signal in our remote area came off a verizon tower which is only half mile away . It was fine as long as there weren't to many verizon customers useing the tower I guess but when there were guess who gets bumped off . I know others who live in other areas who seem to like it .

Been using the $30.00 plan for 2 years now. No complaints to speak of. Ours use At&t towers but depending on the phone could use Verizon, At&t, or T-Mobile. The Smart Phones use Sprint.

Pretty mixed review. When current contract is up in April, I think I'm gonna try the Verizon version even though almost all the carriers offer their own version. The coverage is decent & the tower is only 1/8 of a mile from my residence in farm country. Can't afford NOT to try it. I'm done getting screwed every month on taxes & surcharges for a basic phone with basic service!!

Found some good deals on Straight Talk refills. Less than $17.00 for the $30.00 plan. It's legit and definitely cheap. Ebay baby
Take a look at Consumer Cellular ( https://www.consumercellular.com/Info/Plans ) and compare the packages with Straight Talk.
No contract with Consumer Cellular and you can adjust your usage plan on the fly. Been using it for several years now and have had 0 issues.
