Higher or lower? I really hope it goes back to normal but I have a feeling normal is lost forever.

Like they said^^^ With the oil market manipulated world wide those prices probably wont get low very often either. NG and propane, who knows. So coal may stay competitive even at higher prices.

As long as the coal companies are selling to other countries, prices won't come down.

They were selling to other countries before prices went up. There is no cause effect there.

Nowhere near the amount they are selling now to other countries. Some of the smaller dealers still have decent prices, how is sherman selling for $200/ton? Go price it at coal contractors,(probably the best coal around) they got large export contracts to fill from people who are paying higher prices so why would they even sell local? You want our coal, then you have to beat the price what we are selling it to other countries. Plain and simple. Call them and ask why, better yet take a drive and talk to them.

Is Sherman currently still $200?
