That 5 year chart makes me cringe haha. Hopefully if things stabilize we can stock up this summer with some decent prices. What’s that 5 year chart look like for eggs!

The hassle isn't the part of chicken I don't like.

I thought they were a hassle. I had about 8. Then one disappeared. I thought good they’ll slowly get picked off by something. Then some weeks later I was laying under my truck torquing the transmission bands when I heard all t this little chirping and peeping. I looked to my left and there was the lost hen with 17 chicks. Prancing by and they were all scurrying behind her in a line. I couldn’t believe it. She had ran off, made a nest, hatched them and had the nerve to bring them back to me!!!!

Here is the egg chart! https://tradingeconomics.com/commodity/eggs-us
You can also look at other traded commodities like coal, propape, natural gas, lumber, beef and so forth.

This is great news if anthracite is included. My issue isn't 8.2% inflation, pretty average worldwide result of pandemic. I do have a problem with mine companies that have 8.2% cost increases and raise their prices 50%.
