Granted Im selling on FB but I think the coal companies are destroying demand at 500ton pricing.

We just got hit with the artic zero and here in Western NY can't get anything but no shows for 425 ton rice bagged.

Maybe someone on FB is selling for $424.99 ?

Or people on FB are not a target audience. I'm not on FB.

Just tell them you have someone coming to buy it the next day cash in hand but first come first serve.

I don’t dabble in fakebook either for the same reason, my time is precious and I have precious little for nonsense!

I've bought and sold stuff on Craigslist. Usually without issue. Sold 2 cars on Craigslist.

Works both ways. I called a guy to buy a motorcycle 4 hours away. I called before I left telling him I was on my way. I gave him another call when I was about 20 minutes from his house. He says “oh I sold that about an hour ago”.

I have sold about 10 items on marketplace with no issues at all, including a pickup truck. Probably depends on what you are selling, location, etc.

As for rice not selling at $425 per ton, I am not sure why. Maybe the coal burners in your are already have what they need or decided to do something else.

I know here in PA, no one would pay more than 350 per ton. I just got a few ton last week for 325.00 And that's for arguably the best coal anywhere coming out of Mount Carmel.

I would not buy a new car from a new car dealer 4 hrs away without a contract being signed...maybe go there and would be gone.

Don't know if there is more than one mine in Mt. Carmel. But it came from Mt. Carmel. Most of us here agree that it is even better then Blashack.
