I would echo that as well, I am pleased with the Sherman coal I have. I'm burning it in my hand-fired boiler which is a new setup to me so I don't have a direct comparison but I have no complaints.

Id,Many Thanx For Puttin' This Up!! Its rewarding to see that some Coal Outfits have shy'd away from "Rapin',Robbin' And Plunderin' " This will help out those that are Financially "Down On Their Luck" and taking a "Heating Beating"!!

This Sherman coal burns to a fine powder vs the Blaschak that I see leaves some unburnt coal in my ash pans.

Blaschak rice was creating cakes/bridges in my flat grate, it made very good heat but I switched directly to sherman buck and problems went away. I'm super glad to hear everyone is having success with Sherman, I tell everyone about them! The only problem is how close they are to me and how deep my addiction to coal is! Deeper than my wallet!lincolnmania wrote: ↑Sat. Nov. 19, 2022 8:25 amThis Sherman coal burns to a fine powder vs the Blaschak that I see leaves some unburnt coal in my ash pans.

I am going to fill my bin next season with it and give it a whirl. It sounds like the coal I used to get. Powdery ash. Wasn't much good for use on an icy driveway like Blaschak's coarse ash. Also, I used to be able burn it at a lower temp without going out. Blaschak needs the air in my stove or it goes out.

I haven't had this experience, though I've never burned their rice. Their ash is nice and chunky for me, superior is the one whose ash turned to powder for me, gets in the flue and all over the wet walls in no time.nut wrote: ↑Sat. You're very welcome, you only missed out on 1.5 5gal buckets worth that was frozen to the body. My hand fired seems to like it.
I know you'll like the sherman everyone I talked to including myself has nothing but good things to say about it.
