I made a couple phone calls to get prices on a ton of coal. Both places we’re about the same price and comparable products.
I was told $330.00 -$336.00 per ton this year ! That’s a decent increase in money per ton ! I’m not happy about it but what can I do ?

Not sure where you are located, but you can give Garmans Coal and Mulch a call.
I have no idea what the price is right now, but I have been with them for about 5 years now.
I did chat with the owner a while back about some of the price gouging, and he seems to be keeping the customer in mind.
They are located in Manheim.

That’s a little haul for me. But if there’s that big a difference in price I would give it consideration. I live pretty much next door to the Rough and Tumble.

Made some more phone calls this morning !
Garmin told me $380-ton
Martins ag $365-ton Jeddo-$333-ton
They are giving a 2% discount if paid w/cash or check!
Weaverland valley coal $336-ton
Is cheapest and closest to my house, so that pretty much decides that for me.
And they are all comparable products, I asked Martin why Jeddo was cheaper and they said depending on your draft system, people are having a hard time keeping a low temperature burn going. That’s never a problem for me with my D&S circulator stove.
