For those that buy from TSC check their prices. It jumped to $12 here. It may be lower in some places, I did not check anywhere but MN, WI, and IA. It was 10 bucks here a couple weeks ago.

It only inched up a little. From the last month = huge inflation.

Luckily I live under a bridge.

So stock up because :Coal $500 a ton by 2030. Oil $500 a barrel. Gas and Heating oil $15 a gallon. Mostly because the currency will be worth that much less.

!!!!!!!! I just checked TS bagged anthracite online and it listed it as $12.99 a bag! Both on a Pa. search and a N. Carolina search. HFS! :-x

I haven't bought any there in a good many years. I know it was at $10 a bag in Pa., although I don't think they had any to sell. I did get a half ton here and there back in the $4.99 Kimmels days.

I'm not certain, but as far as I could ever determine that coal commodity futures price that gets posted in a couple of places is the Newcastle export market in Australia. Even with very bad flooding their dollar amount sales were way up for years. Expected to crash fairly bad in the next couple years due to China really backing off on imports of their coal. Guessing that's both Aussie anthracite and bit. I don't think that any of their coal is going to Europe which is what is killing the US home heater.
