I know my boss is paying 2.89/gal for propane. That supposedly is due to the volume he buys, so I assume the price is higher locally. I saw local tsc is filling propane tanks for 3.99/#.

I'm not in NY and I believe that your HO usually runs a good bit higher. In my local area, everyone was gouging a dollar or more over wholesale for some time. Now dropping. The Commodities market for Aug. contracts dropped a whole lot today on HO, then came back some this evening. Currently at $3.67/gal. I got a fill up for $4.50/gal several days ago. Same place now lists $4.30 online. Heard of one place at $4.18/gal. Some are still $5.15-$5.50 but their jig will soon be up.

I in western berks county owning my own 1000 gallon tank just got 350 gallons for 1.68 per gallon. We live close to pipeline and have a good dealer

It varies a lot depending on where you live. I just got a lock-in for propane at 1.99 per gallon, which is up 0.50 from last year.

Really? I thought it was nys taxes that made price so high here. But you are getting 1.50 less per gallon than around here.
