Cheese and rice.
You know it!!! Ukraine stopped exporting coal and now other countries are looking elsewhere…. Here in the coal region some of these coal companies are dropping millions on new equipment to get it out of the ground faster…

My buddy owns an independent gas station in town.
Rather than spending money to update his digital signs and gas pumps once gas prices exceed $999 per gallon, he is asking the state for permission to sell gas by the quart.
Makes sense to me ! It will be nice to see the signs back to $2.00 or $3.00 again.

Add to that trucking plus middle man profit.
Put your gold and silver outside in the bin. Put your coal in the safe.

That seems to me to be a ridiculous price.
I'm sure glad I've got almost 3 ton left from last year.
Dang it'll be over $600 ton up here, it was $300 last year.

Is that an actual breaker price or someone who is selling their coal somewhere else ? I know our dealers around here use photos of the coal suppliers logo on their flyers with their price not the mines price. Just curious.

That is right from Lehigh. My local dealer confirmed getting a huge price increase notification as well.anthony7812 wrote: ↑Fri. I suggest calling around to your local dealers and seeing what you can get now.

Compare that price to what fuel oil, NG, or propane will cost and you'll find its still a good deal but thats one heck of a jump. Cheap heating is over I guess. That will probably stop a lot of people from switching to coal from other fuels too. Hope for a warm winter.
