Hello! Bought a house that has a Harman Coal stove and can't seem to find bagged rice coal in my area. Lancaster NY. Any ideas? Would also love to hear thoughts on keeping the stove or switching to wood.

First off welcome JBenn. Someone somewhere has coal for sale near ya, just haven’t found them yet. Tractor supply stores usually carry some in the northeast. If ya have any local agway or agricultural stores they may carry bagged coal. Ya may find some aggregate companies near ya. If a Harman coal stove is in the home, they must have had a supply. Switchin to wood is a backwards step all around. I don’t knock burning wood but honestly time has a price and never sell yourself short.
