How much do you use per year? Or have you been watching the whole green energy thing?
Two TT loads last 2 households 4 years, figured we would get enough to last till next election… lol

Just picked up 3 ton at Sherman coal. 170 a ton. Seemed like a pretty good deal to me. First time going up to coal country and honestly I didn’t realize how close I live to it. 32 miles up so I spent about 20$ in diesel 2 1/2 hours of my time to buy coal for 30$ cheaper a ton over last year.

I picked up another 1.9 tons at DiRenzo’s today. $180.00 a ton. I’m going to leave it on the trailer and use it first.

Thx for the heads up wayto..... and yes I have been carefully studying the green energy thing. As I result I will double my rice order and get a load of buck as well. My motto in life is that if 99% are going one way then by going to other way you are probably doing the right thing.

I learned that finally in 1991 as a tourist in Japan. I was hiking up mount Takaharayama at about lunchtime. Everyone was going the opposite way on the path. When I got to the top every tree had been struck by lightning as the storms strike most afternoons. I had the mountain to myself and on the way down it started to rain heavily which I was not dressed for. Boom, big crash of thunder ... noisey. I was fine but three people died at the bottom. So having learned that lesson I am going to visit FF sometime soon. hahahahhahaha. I am such card ... I slay myself

Mayor,
Just so you know from my post earlier that $312 price from Hitzer was bagged AND picked up. Don’t see a category for that.

Price went to $324 today if I’m not mistaken by a few dollars.

Hitzer is still cheaper (if you need to drive there for parts or 7” stove pipe no one else carried locally) than the local TSC for bagged and picked up, plus Hitzer offers Blashak or Lehigh.
