45 tons ,thats a nice stash, and its not known to expire. Better than money in the bank.
So my choices are stash a little cash in the bank and get zero interest. Invest in the stock market lose 5% per quarter and even if I win I pay tax on it. Or invest in the future and buy coal, toilet paper, vodka and Heinz baked beans. I would never soil Pamela Andersons photo on the girlie magazine. One way of ending the UK war and force oil to go back to $50 is for me to prepare for the worst. Never fails to fix the worlds problems.

I guess all that vodka and baked beans begs the need for large amounts of TP  Yea you made a good buy there. Think of it as energy futures. Id add some smoked ribeye steak to those beans though.

So do I buy oil and buy an Arab another Rolls Royce as they obviously hate us right now. Plan B buy oil from Russia who REALLY hates us. Plan C keep my coal brothers diggin' 100 miles down the road. They may not like me either but come Monday morning see if they will accept my money for their product and save me a chit load of money

Plus one on not soiling Pam.
Plus one on the fact that once I stock up prices will drop.

Ya think this is buying high .. well here is the bad news ... Just be patient. So as we run out of diesel what do you think the coal boys will use to power those giant machines. I can lend them Marble our pony. So for now I buy low and burn high so the oil burner will not switch on. They call this spring? .. phking cold

Newbs,I wasn't pulling Your leg! I was dead serious! The way I'm seeing it,You,FFred and some other Fine Folks are "Seeing&Being" regarding this mess. We do the best we can,and being the Black Rocks Store Stable,I'd rather lay in an assured supply... Stay Da' Course,Of Course!!

Why Marble? Good puller or good on fuel?

CN, you may want to go easy on reporting your stocks, some nefarious lurkers may show up and barrow Marble and some shovels.

Well Marble does well on grass. The bad news he is in his thirties, is blind and has Cushings but he will give it his all.
