That really sucks for me as I drove there and picked up for 200/ton. Actual was 160/ton but I picked up in super sacks which they charge 40/each. Wish I could have found someone to truck that cheap....no brainer. Justin, how far are you from Tamaqua?
Try https://glenn-burn-harmony-coal-mine.business.site/ I just got coal today for 165 a ton but if you need it delivered talk to the guy who works the scale he will deliver for 215 a ton if you buy 1 ton and 210 a ton if you buy 2 tons ( more you get the cheaper it is) They have good hard Anthracite. One thing you can do if you dont have a truck is we use to go over and fill sandbags full of coal ourselves using a piece of 6in pvc we'd slide into the bags which made filling super easy. You can get sandbags for cheap which are reusable we use to just slide zip ties on the bags to close them and then stack the bags in our vehicle it's an easy way to get bagged coal at 1/2 the price of buying refilled bags. Just a thought ;)

I finally had the financial means to get a semi load. Was $215/ton delivered and they brought 23 ton. So I came out money ahead as that is over 2 years worth of coal for me and I didn't have to go anywhere!

Awesome! We got two loads last year, enough to last two households till 2025, we paid 217/ton. Can’t beat it.

Nope, just a smoking deal. And I was one of those that sold my '16 Ram dually for stupid money but I haven't replaced it yet so I was kinda stuck. But in doing the math I came out ahead and didn't have to take a day off work!

I will not pay what they are getting for used. I will buy another new one but want to save up so payment is reasonable. I get employee price on Ford and Ram, just trying to figure out which to choose...... I currently work for Stellantis so scale weighs a little heavier towards another Ram.

It’s definitely hard to not sell anything right now as buyers are everywhere, but it’s sure crazy to buy something.
