Just got home from my first coal run of the season

Lehigh Coal, Tamaqua, PA

2.17Tons of stove (Egg) sitting in the double axle dump trailer outside my patio door

$390.60 ($180/Ton)

Between what I had left from last season and this, I should be set until late February Or early March, though I'm reasonably sure I may need more wood pellets and Kerosene for fire starting before then...

The last fire I started, I had to use drain-oil soaked cardboard.

wow. 180 a ton picked up....still climbing.....coal was 105 a ton at the breaker when i bought my first ton in 2005.
i just paid 208 a ton delivered to berks county. i'm about 55 miles from the breaker that my coal dealer uses.
