I saw posts from a gent here awhile back. He had a truck and would do pickups from the mine and deliver five tons or more. Does anyone have his contact info?

Going to get pricey unless you get a full TT load...
TT get about $800-1200 for the long haul from PA to MA...
How much you looking to get delivered...

Someone on a FB group was asking. He was having a tough time getting Coal in Indiana. I have C&T Coal the next town over. He's been great. He carries Sherman Coal. Pretty happy thus far. I just burn my Chubby on the Colder days so I dont use allot I buy a few tons every couple years. I have my eye on a boiler then I'll be looking at bulk.

Friends of mine own Iron House on The Cape...
I help them to stock good coal...
They sell stoves and fuel including coal...
They don't deliver any more due to the expense of running a High lift on The Cape...
They do have people pick up...
They sell Lehigh nut in bulk...
Their dad started the business back in the 70's...
They did a lot of deliveries back in the day with high lifts...
Check with Matt from Lehigh for dealers in Indiana...
There has been some info on the board for coal dealers in that area...

Thanks! By they way what's your friends price per ton for Nut Coal? I might be able to borrow a dump trailer.

I will tell people bulk dealers upon request. I dont publish bulk dealers because there is no way of knowing if a dealer is only buying 1 brand of coal. I have many who do, but I dont like to publish and then something happens they got a load from someone else and im fielding complaints. Bagged I can be sure it is our product.

I was looking for that and finally found it. There is a gent in a FB group who was looking. I guess its tough to get Coal in Indiana. Surprisingly there are many of us who burn Anthracite here in MA. Hey also I was the one who messaged you on FB Marketplace regarding the Gentleman Janitor. At 130,000BTU It would probably do the job pretty well. I'm in Athol MA, Looks like we arent all that far from each other.

i would have to say it depends where you are in Indiana if you are having problems getting coal.

here in Elkhart county indiana i am surrounded by at least 6 dealers of both bagged and bulk of either Lehigh or Blashack with in 15 miles radius of me. if i go across the county line into LaGrange county there are at least that many more.

i have to say back just before the election in '16 i contacted the Lehigh Bulk plant about a TT load of 23 tons and paid $30 a ton over the cost of the coal to get delivered to Elkhart county Indiana from (Tamaqua ?) PA which amounted to $690. shipping.

you guys out there seem to be getting gravely taken advantage of to say the least.

Check what the trucking is now...
And if they are deadheading...
The back haul is key to a better price per ton...

I really need to get an add on boiler. Been putting it off. Waiting for an equity line and then I'll get something nice. Then I'll get at least five tons at a time.

The Chubby is awesome but it takes allot of tending on the real cold days to keep 1800sqft warm.
