Kinda embarrassing to even post something like this.
Eastern KY is supposed to be known for coal, but I've spent all day calling numbers I'm finding on the net, only to find all those companies are all out of business now, or don't sell residential.
I'm new to burning coal, so maybe there is a dealer near me and I'm just not finding them.
Any nearby coal dealer would be selling bituminous though, and I have heard that anthracite has less smoke, so that would be nice if I could get it.
I have ordered a 1557M furnace from tractor supply and have ordered 1 pallet of bagged anthracite from them to get started.
I have heard their coal isn't the best though, and in any case it would be more convenient to have it delivered.

The only number I called that had any response at all today was Blaschak, and they could only give me numbers of 'nearby' dealers.
There were only 2 of those, and nobody answered the phone at either of those.
Anyone have any ideas?

I just found a seller less than 10 miles from my house.
Only problem finding him was he just doesn't advertise online for some reason.
I just asked around at the office and found someone who knew him.
The business name is 'Kentucky Mountain Coal' and is on highway 119.
$130 / ton pickup
$145 / ton delivered
Prices are for both stoker and lump.
I suppose I shouldn't post his number, as he isn't advertising it himself, but if anyone near me is reading this and wants coal, I can PM them.

I think I underestimated the word 'lump'. I was thinking lumps the size of footballs, not football fields.
